Prepaid Credits & Gift Cards

How to buy, redeem, and track your balance.

Written by Bart

Your LevelUp account carries a credit balance that goes toward bookings. Credit comes from gift cards, refunds and promotions, and it is spent automatically the next time you book. There is nothing to select and no code to enter at checkout.

šŸŽ Buying a Gift Card

Gift cards are available online at play.levelupgolf.ca/gift-cards, and you don't need an account to buy one.

  1. Choose a preset amount ($50, $100, $200, $300, $500 or $1,000) or enter a custom amount between $10 and $2,500.

  2. Enter the recipient's name and email address, or choose "Send to myself" if it's for you.

  3. Add a personal message if you'd like.

  4. Choose to send immediately or schedule delivery for a specific date, up to 6 months ahead.

  5. Complete your purchase with any of our accepted payment methods.

The recipient gets an email with the gift card code and a link to it. Scheduled gift cards arrive at 10:00 AM ET on the date you picked.

šŸ’” Tip: If you'd prefer a physical copy, skip the recipient email and you'll get a printable version instead.

šŸ”‘ Redeeming a Gift Card

A gift card does nothing until its code is redeemed. Redeeming turns the card's full value into account credit, and that credit is what pays for your booking. Do this before you book.

  1. Sign in at play.levelupgolf.ca.

  2. Click your profile icon, then Manage Account, then Wallet.

  3. Enter the 16 character gift card code (formatted as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).

  4. Tap Redeem.

The full value lands in your credit balance immediately. The card itself is then used up, so there is nothing left to present later.

šŸ’” Tip: Your code is in the delivery email, or on your printed gift card.

šŸ’° Checking Your Balance

Your credit balance sits in the Wallet section of your account, in the same place you redeem a code. The figure shown is what's available to spend right now.

šŸ›’ How Credits Are Applied

There is no "pay with gift card" option at checkout, and you don't need one. Once a card is redeemed its value is account credit, and your credit is applied to the booking automatically.

You'll see it before you confirm, as an Account Credit line in the price breakdown, just above Amount Due.

  • If your credit covers the whole booking, Amount Due is $0.00 and your card is not charged.

  • If your credit covers part of it, the rest goes on your card.

  • We ask for a card either way, even when nothing is owed. It holds the booking, and a $0.00 booking stays $0.00.

  • When you hold several credits, the ones with an expiry date are spent first, then the oldest.

One exception: adding time to a session in progress always charges the card you booked with, never your credit. See Extending or Ending Your Session.

ā³ Do Credits Expire?

Gift card credit does not expire. It stays in your account until you use it.

Credit we add for a promotion or as a goodwill gesture sometimes carries an expiry date, and we'll tell you the date when we issue it. Because expiring credit is spent ahead of everything else, it gets used before your gift card credit is touched.
