Bringing Guests

How many people fit in a bay, whether spectators count toward that, and the rule for under-18s.

Written by Bart

You book the whole zone rather than a seat, so the price is the same whether you play alone or bring a group. The only questions are how many people a zone is built for, and what applies to anyone under 18.

šŸ‘„ How Many People Fit in a Zone

Each zone is designed for four people, and that is four in total, not four players plus an audience. Someone who comes along to watch takes up the same room as someone swinging.

We ask groups to keep it to four per zone. Beyond that a zone fills up quickly once clubs and bags are out, not everyone can see the screen, and it stops being much of a session for the people who came to play.

There is a safety side to it as well. The more people in a zone, the less room a club has to travel, and the higher the chance that someone standing nearby gets caught by a swing.

Coming with a bigger group? Two ways to handle it well:

  • Book two zones side by side. This is the right call for anything over four. Everyone gets to play, and the group stays together.

  • Use the lobby. Every zone has seating and there is more in the lobby, so anyone waiting a turn or simply along for the company has somewhere comfortable to sit.

Three players with three partners along, for example, is a much better evening as two zones, or with the partners settled in the lobby rather than all six in one room.

🚪 Getting Your Group In

There is nothing extra to set up. Guests do not need their own booking, account, or pass.

Whoever made the booking receives the access link. The unlock button on that page becomes active 5 minutes before your start time and keeps working until 10 minutes after your end time.

You can either walk to the door and let people in yourself, or forward the access link to anyone in your group so they can let themselves in, handy when someone is running late. Treat that link like a key: anyone holding it can open the door during your booking window.

šŸ‘¶ Kids & Under-18s

All ages are welcome, and the simulator suits juniors and complete beginners just as well as it does regular players.

Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the booking. In practice that means the booking is made in an adult's name, and that adult stays on site for the whole session.
