We send two separate emails for every booking, and the good news is you don't actually need either one. Everything is in the booking app, including the button that unlocks the door.
š± Check Your Booking in the App First
This is the quickest way to answer "is my booking actually booked?", and it takes about ten seconds.
Sign in at play.levelupgolf.ca.
Tap your profile picture in the top right corner, then Manage Account, then My Bookings.
Every booking you've made is listed there with the date, time and zone, and an Upcoming badge if it hasn't happened yet.
š” Tip: if your booking isn't in the list, you're most likely signed in with a different email address than the one you booked with.
āļø The Two Emails We Send
They arrive at different times and they do different jobs, so it's easy to think one is missing when it simply hasn't been sent yet.
Booking confirmation. Sent the moment your payment goes through. The subject line starts with Booking confirmed at. It has your reservation number, the amount paid, the card used, your date, time and zone, and the venue address. This one is your receipt, so keep it.
Venue access link. Subject line starts with Venue access link for. It arrives about an hour before your start time, not at the time of booking. If you booked less than 90 minutes ahead, it arrives within seconds of your confirmation email instead.
If you booked a day or more in advance, you'll also get a short reminder closer to your session. Everything comes from [email protected].
š Signed In With Apple? Check Hide My Email
This is the most common reason our emails never turn up, so it's worth checking before anything else.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, the address on your LevelUp account ends in @privaterelay.appleid.com. Apple receives our email and forwards it on to your real inbox. When that forwarding address is switched off or out of date, Apple accepts the email and it quietly goes nowhere. It won't be in your spam folder either, because it never reached your inbox at all.
See where Apple is forwarding: on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name at the top, then iCloud, then Hide My Email, then Forward To.
See which address we have: Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, then pick LevelUp.
Quickest fix: give us a regular email address instead. Sign in at play.levelupgolf.ca, then Manage Account, Profile, Email Address. Everything from that point on goes straight to you.
š Still Nothing in Your Inbox?
Search your mail for [email protected] rather than for "LevelUp". Searching the address brings back every email we've ever sent you in one go.
Have a look in spam and junk, and add that address to your contacts so the next one lands properly.
Check the address on your account under Manage Account, Profile. A typo, or an older address you'd forgotten about, is a common culprit.
If you've verified your mobile number with us, we text you the same links as well.
šŖ Session Starting and Still No Email?
Don't stand at the door waiting for it. Sign in at play.levelupgolf.ca, pick your day in the calendar, and tap your booking. Yours is the blue block. The unlock button is right there in the booking details.
Access opens 5 minutes before your start time and stays open until 10 minutes after your end time.
š¬ Need Help?
If none of the above sorts it out, send us a message. We can look up your booking and send everything again.
